RD1 Quenton Risher in middle with SN Potter on his left, RDSN Dave Wolf on his right,
RDSN Milan Hill. QMSN Ron Karow with back to camera taking a picture. Taken
during the Panama Canal transit on way to West Pac in 1967 on 01 level forward
by port side torpedo launcher. Sn Potter transferred from B Div to OI Div in
late 1966 and was a good friend to all of us. We would love to know the whereabouts
of him these days. |

Not sure when these were taken but that is Turtle " Phil Tortarice" on Lancaster's
shoulders. He got the nickname Turtle because it was easier to say. We told him
his looks didn't have anything to do with it. |
OI Division berthing compartment was below the messdecks. It was shared with OE Division
and part of OC Division. Left is Lancaster standing, Devilbiss resting
on elbow in back and Richie Renz standing with that grin that always makes you
