RESERVATION INFORMATION
LODGING ROOMS HAVE BEEN SET ASIDE FOR THE DATES OF  APRIL 18-21, 2008 THREE NIGHTS.  A SPECIAL RATE OF $58.00 PER ADDITIONAL ROOM NIGHTS ($66.12 WITH TAX).  THIS RATE WILL BE HONORED ONE DAY PRIOR AND ONE DAY AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED GROUP RESERVATION. RESERVATION MAY BE MADE BY SUBMITTING YOUR RESERVATION FORM.

      WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS ASAP.  YOUR CHECK WILL BE YOUR RECEIPT.  NO CREDIT CARDS.   WE WILL NEED FULL PAYMENT BY APRIL 1, 2008.  GUESTROOM CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE 72-HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR DEPOSIT REFUND.

                                             APRIL 18, 2008, FRIDAY
3:00 pm                     Arrival at the Ramada  Inn.   Visiting in the hospitality suite
6:00PM-7:00PM     There will be a Welcome Reception in hospitality suite.
8:00 pm Plan for a Business meeting in the hospitality suite.

                                             APRIL 19,  SATURDAY
8:30 am  Board your coaches and depart for the USS ALABAMA MEMORIAL
                       PARK, for a tour of the USS ALALBAMA, THE USS DRUM, A
                      SUBMARINE, and the Aircraft Pavilion.
11:30 am Board your coaches and depart for SPOT OF TEA for lunch. Choice
                      of 3 sandwich entrees, salad, beverage, and desert.
1:00 pm  You will Depart for a riding tour of Mobile's Historic Downtown area.  Stop at Fort Conde, for a brief tour.
2:30 pm  Time to return to the comfort of the hotel. Rest and get dressed up for the banquet.
4:30 pm  Depart for the USS ALABAMA, where dinner will be served in the Ward Room. 
5:00 pm  Dinner is served.  After dinner you will have a guest speaker.
6:30 pm  Board your coaches and depart for the Ramada Inn.
7:30 pm  Hospitality room will be open.

                                           APRIL 20,  SUNDAY
7:00 am to 8:30 am   Breakfast in the hotel dining room.
9:30 am  Board your coach for a tour to beautiful Bellingrath Gardens.  The
                      Gardens and Home were built by Walter Bellingrath who owned the
                      Coke Cola franchise in this area.  Known as the “Garden Spot of the
                      South”.  Mrs. Bellingrath collected antiques, silver, china, porcelains,
                      And All beautifully displayed in the home.
11:30 am  Box lunch will be served on the Southern Belle.  As you cruise the
                      Fowl  River, the Captain will give an interesting narrative on the area.
12:30 pm  Return to the dock and tour the beautiful Bellingrath Home.
1:30 pm    Continue the tour of the Gardens.
2:30 pm    Depart for Mobile with a stop at Christmas Town, the second largest
                      Christmas store in the nation.  There is something for everyone.
4:00 pm   Return to the Ramada Inn.
5:00 pm   Hospitality room will open.  Evening on your own.

                                           APRIL 21, MONDAY
7:00 am - 8:30 am  Full breakfast in the hotel dining room.
                                       Depart for Home or Board the motorcoach for the Terminal and your cruise.

ROUND TRIP SHUTTLE SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE TERMINAL FOR YOUR CRUISE.  THE COST WILL DEPEND ON HOW MANY  USE THIS SERVICE.  YOU CAN SAY YES NOW__________ OR WAIT UNTIL YOU SIGN IN AT  REGISTRATION.

Reservations for the Cruise portion of the re-union must be made separately from the rest of the re-union in Mobile.  Sorry for any inconvenience but the two parts of this re-union are being handled by two different companies.

2008 USS New DD/DDE 818 Cruise Portion information:

The Cruise will be from April 21 – 26.
It will be a 5 day cruise aboard the Carnival Ship ”Holiday”.  Each cabin will receive a $25 on board credit which can be used for anything on the ship including the gratuities.  There is a $200 per person deposit required at the time of booking.  You can cancel your reservation up to 32 days prior to sailing and still receive a full refund of your deposit.  We will be visiting two ports in Mexico, Cozumel and Calica.  It is important to book asap.  We reserved a block of cabins but when that block is gone the price could go up to get more cabins.  The price below includes everything except alcoholic beverages, shore tours, gambling, and souvenirs.  All meals and entertainment aboard the ship are included in the price.  The members of the “New” group will receive a private cocktail party as well as the Captain's cocktail party.  Alcoholic beverages at those parties are included in the price.
